This policy (“Shipment Policy") provides you all the information about how we, ETHICALS, with headquarters in Leiden, the Netherlands (“ETHICALS” or “we”) ship the products that you have purchased on www.ethicals.net (“Website”).
SHIPPING PROCESSING TIME
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days.
NOTICE: Our normal delivery times may be affected due to the global outbreak of COVID-19. We appreciate your understanding during this time and will update you once your order is scheduled to be shipped. Please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team with any questions—they’re standing by ready to help.

Tax Free orders from outside of the European Union
If you place an order from a non-EU country, 21% VAT will be excluded. By purchasing from outside the EU you will be charged import taxes and duties instead. The import taxes and duties, which may vary by non-EU country, are on your account and will be charged by the delivery courier.
We ship to almost every country of the world, with a few specific exceptions where particular circumstances apply. If the country you are shipping to is not listed, please contact us and we will inform you personally about the delivery fee to that address.
ETHICALS will use all reasonable efforts to deliver the order to the delivery address within the expected delivery estimates. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or other unforeseen circumstances, shipments may be delayed. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there is a delay in the shipping of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
If shipping suffers a delay, or if the shipment cannot be implemented, or only partially, we will inform you about this as soon as reasonably possible after the order has been placed. In this case, the customer has a right to dissolve the contract free of charge.
SHIPPING CONFIRMATION & ORDER TRACKING
You will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail containing your tracking number once your order is shipped.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES
ETHICALS is Not responsible for any customs duties and/or import taxes applied to your shipment. All fees imposed during or after transit of your order are your responsibility (e.g. tariffs, taxes, etc.).
DAMAGES, INCOMPLETE, LOSSES OR INCORRECTLY DELIVERED PRODUCTS
You must inform our customer service as soon as possible (within 24 hours when having received the order) by e-mail, telephone or through the contact page on the Website, if you:
- receive your order in a damaged or incomplete state;
- receive products that you did not order; or
- do not receive your order.
In such cases, we will decide how to deal with the matter at hand. You must always inform us in the aforementioned situation(s) and wait for our instructions.
We will bear the costs of any replacement shipment and will subsequently take care of the shipment of the correct product, provided that you have fully conformed with the return instructions from us.
If you return one or more products at your own costs, without first contacting and awaiting our instructions, you cannot claim the shipping costs you have made from ETHICALS (nor hold us responsible for the return shipment that took place without our prior instructions).
In order to keep your satisfaction high, we will provide a suitable solution for you as quickly as possible. If the order has been lost during transport or if you claim not to have received the order (even if this appears from the tracking information), we will initiate an investigation procedure with the relevant shipping carrier. Usually we first wait for this investigation procedure and if the shipment is indeed declares lost by the shipping carrier, a new product will be sent to you or the purchase price will be refunded to you. You agree to fully cooperate with our shipping carrier in executing its investigation.
The risk of damage and/or loss of the shipment lies with ETHICALS up to the moment of delivery of the order to the delivery address, unless agreed otherwise. In case anything goes wrong with the shipment of an order due to an error in the delivery address made by the buyer, ETHICALS cannot be held responsible for the (partial) loss of the shipment.
